Seem like that the effects of global warming is real, as we have temperature above the average for more than a month. The nice and warm winter comes to an end since last week, and Sunday January 21st saw the first real snowfall for Columbus. While we're worring about the messy roads and cleaning up the snows on the driveway, our two kids were excited about playing in the snow. Indeed, Jan 21st was Eric and Rick's first day in Chinese School. They're quite excited to attend the school actually, since they will meet their friends there. As they want to stay with each other, we put them in the same class (first grade). Apparently Rick is too young for this grade, but the good things are they can help each other and learn together. Anyway, we don't expect them to be excellent, but at least be able to pronounce and read fluently.
